Police action in the north: Seized weapons and auxiliary equipment for riots in Leposavic - Telegrafi

The Kosovo police have seized hand grenades, 1 AK 47 automatic weapon with 200 cartridges, about 12 thousand euros and various types of ammunition, including radios and other auxiliary equipment for riots, in Leshak of the Municipality of Leposaviq.

The news was announced on Facebook by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla.

He said that the operation was carried out on the suspicion of narcotics.

"These and other devices are suspected to be part of various illegal and criminal activities and so far 1 person of Serbian nationality has been arrested, meanwhile the action is continuing", writes Minister Sveçla.

He says that we remain fully committed to acting in coordination with all security institutions in the implementation of the law in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
